FIELD: shoe industry, in particular, antiskid facilities for winter boots. SUBSTANCE: antiskid device, which may be manufactured from wire, chains or like material, has tenons made in the form of links of at least one closed chain connected with looped retainers manufactured from elastic tape and adapted for embracing toe and heel parts of boots. Chain is defined by mutually perpendicular welded oval-shaped links. Welded joint of oval-shaped links on supporting working surface of tenons at side of chain opposed to looped retainers projects from outer surface. Ends of each looped retainer are attached at points in uneven number of links. The device has universal construction and may be used for boots of different sizes. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, simplified construction and manufacture method, convenient usage and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 4 dwg
