FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: explosive material of intermediate detonator with appropriate mass is formed from two or several liquid, separately nonexplosive components mixed in specified proportions within intermediate detonator shell directly on the blast place. As initiation means for intermediate detonator explosive, detonation initiators immersed in intermediate detonator explosive material are used, which contain enclosed explosives or sensitive formulations, or nonexplosive initiation agents. When intermediate detonator is used as flat detonation wave generator, conical, cylindrical or differently-shaped lens is fixed on the bottom of detonator case. Lens can be made from nonexplosive or explosive material with geometric dimensions determined from conditions of simultaneous access of detonation and shock waves to the bottom (surface) of intermediate detonator.
