FIELD: peat producing industry, particularly, methods of production of peat of fuel and agricultural application. SUBSTANCE: method includes mining of milled peat on process platform with even number of adjacent plots. Formation of multicycle swaths is effected by layers. In this case, swath upper layer of each cycle is formed from wet peat. Peat gathering is started from the Ist plot of process platform with subsequent passing to N/2+1 lot, where N is number of plots on process platform.
