FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves germinating winter rye seeds at temperature of 20-23 C for 3-4 days till appearance of sprouts having length at least equal to that of seed and 2-3 cm long roots; thoroughly washing germinated seeds with water at the rate of 2 l per 1 kg of dry winter rye seeds and filtering through gauze; providing presowing treatment of oats seeds with produced extract by low-volume surface moistening of oats seeds at the rate of 6 l of extract per 100 kg of oats seeds. 3 kg of winter rye seeds are sufficient for treating 100 kg of oats seeds.
