FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: ceiling sectional gate includes door leaf made of several panels placed in series and hinged which are directed with the help of rollers along horizontal guides and along bent sections of guides linked to them. Ceiling sectional gate is fitted with counterbalance unit manufactured in the form of helical tension springs arranged horizontally. The latter are designed to save room, in particular, to diminish depth of lowering under horizontal sections of guides located in building as one or several modules of helical tension springs arranged one under another and passing in parallel are provided on each outer side zone of horizontal sections of guides facing each other. At least some of these modules of helical tension springs are composed of two helical springs as minimum placed coaxially whose turns have opposite direction of coiling and cross. Given design of ceiling gate makes it possible to use minimal space in building. EFFECT: usage of minimal space for mounting of ceiling gate. 8 cl, 16 dwg
