FIELD: turbojet engines. SUBSTANCE: thrust reverser has movable cowling performing downward translational motion under the action of working cylinder to open blade cascades and to actuate doors turning about hinges fixed with inner wall by means of control rods so that channel is shut off and air flow is passed through cascades for thrust reversal. Longitudinal geometric axis of working cylinder is aligned with movable cowling joint and with contact point at reverser mounting device level between knife-blade support rigidly joined with upper fixed structure and mounting flange fixed to turbojet engine. In this way, during cylinder operation for displacing movable cowling, torque in fixed upper part of thrust reverser is eliminated. EFFECT: improved reliability and reduced mass of thrust reverser. 5 cl, 4 dwg
