FIELD: agriculture microbiology. SUBSTANCE: strain Entomophthora thaxteriana N 19-11 (VIZR) is obtained by step selection from monoconidial dissemination of natural isolate isolated from peach aphid. Selection is carried out by the trait of toxin formation in isolates of this fungus in culturing under submerged conditions. Strain Entomophthora thaxteriana is deposited in collection of pure cultures in VIZR at N 19-11. The yield of mycoaphidine T in the strain is 2.5-2.6/1 l of nutrient medium consisting of glucose, 4%; soybean meal, 1% and water, the balance. Content of mycoaphidine T in biomass is 19.4-19.5%. The use of the biopreparation ensures to decrease concentration of working emulsion of preparation up to 0.5% and its insecticide activity is 90-100% death of agriculture crop pests in opened and closed soil. Invention can be used for preparing the preparation mycoaphidine T for protection of plants from aphids, spider mites and trips.
