FIELD: radar equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves emission of sounding signals by radar to be protected, emission of simulation pulses at same frequency as sounding signals, transmission and reception of codes of parameters of radar sounding signals, generation of masking pulses, which are delayed with respect to received sounding signals by repetition rate of sounding signals minus sum of advance interval and time interval for which sounding pulses pass known distance from radar to location of reception and emission of masking and simulation pulses, from location of reception and emission of masking and simulation pulses to remote passive emission source, and from remote passive emission source to radar. Then, method involves generation of masking pulses, which duration with respect to received sounding pulse is equal to sum of advance, duration of sounding pulse and double interval, which is required for passing known distance from radar to remote passive emission source. Then, method involves amplification of masking and simulation pulses, and their emission towards remote passive emission source, and re-emission of masking and simulation signals by passive emission source within known spatial angle. Respective device has receiving and transmitting antennas, channel for transmission of codes of parameters of radar sounding pulses, device for generation of modulation signals, carrier frequency generator, modulator, microwave amplifier, and remote passive emission source.
