FIELD: mechanical engineering; repair and reconditioning of diesel engine atomizers. SUBSTANCE: device has lower and upper disks installed on one axle. Upper disk carries rotation mechanisms consisting of rollers fitted on spindles and contacting with lower disk. Spindles can be rotated together with atomizer housings. Axial displacement mechanisms are made in form of spring-loaded pushers with bearing installed in bushings and engaging with cam of lower disk. Lapping tool in form of shutoff needle is placed in atomizer and is secured in tool holder. Axial displacement of lapping tool is provided by lever tang secured on pusher. Rectangular key with preset dimensions engaging with cutout on lapping tool holder is formed on end of lever rang. EFFECT: increased capacity and improved quality of machining, facilitated preparation for machining owing to quick mounting and removal of lapping tool. 9 dwg
