FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: waste water is treated with grass flour in amounts determined from equation: Pgf = W/d where Pgf is weight of grass flour, kg, W amount of water in 1 kg of waste, kg, and degree of swelling of grass flour, comparative units. Next portion of grass flour is hold for 0.3-0.4 h at 150-200 C in gas-vapor mixture protected from oxygen access. Carbonized and activated grass flour obtained in this way is added once more to preliminarily treated waste in amounts determined from equation: Pcaf = M/C where Pcaf is weight of carbonized and activated grass flour, kg, M amount of oil in 1 kg of waste, and C oil- adsorption capacity of carbonized and activated grass flour, kg/kg. Twice treated waste is mixed with calcium oxide powder at weight ratio 1:(0.5- 0.8), respectively. EFFECT: increased purification degree. 2 cl, 1 tbl, 3 ex
