SUBSTANCE: agent for prophylaxis and treatment of cow endometritis has iodine complex with polyvinylpyrrolidone as an active component and foaming base involving polyethylene glycol, citric acid, calcium stearate and surface-active substance being foaming base has additionally lactose, sodium hydrocarbonate and hydroxyethylated saturated alcohols as surface-active substances in the following ratio of components, wt.%: iodine complex with polyvinylpyrrolidone, 10-20; polyethylene glycol, 30-36; hydroxyethylated saturated alcohols, 0.6-1.2; calcium stearate, 0.8-1.2; citric acid, 10-14; sodium hydrocarbonate, 10-20; and lactose, the balance. Agent ensures to enhance curative-prophylactic effectiveness of animal treatment due to increase of volume and stability of foam that promotes to more rapid and uniform distribution of active substances in increasing concentration in uterine cavity and enhance anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects.
