FIELD: geophysical instrumentation, vibration technology. SUBSTANCE: electrodynamic geophone includes magnetic system made of permanent magnet with chosen magnetic induction B and intensity H in point corresponding to maximum of specific magnetic energy on graph of specific magnetic flux released by permanent magnet into air gaps, of two pole pieces having length Lp.p and put on permanent magnet, of magnetic circuit with two pole pieces matching by length Lp.p that of pole pieces put on permanent magnet and forming two air circular gaps together with them, each being equal to Δ, of mechanical oscillatory link composed of coil with two windings placed in air circular gaps having length Lw and wound on conducting forms having external and internal ring surfaces, of two springs linking coil to magnetic system. Distance between external and internal ring surfaces of each conducting form equals length Lp.p of pole piece and space occupied by each conducting form in each air circular gap is greater than half-space filled with coil in each air circular gap. Length Lp.p of pole piece, diameter D and length L of permanent magnet are tied up to chosen parameters of electrodynamic geophone of accelerations by specified relations.
