FIELD: mining industry and mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vibration protective facilities of operator and can be used on self-propelled machines and vibratory equipment. Proposed vibration-proof suspension provides effective protection of operator at frequencies lower than 4 Hz owing to enlargement of zone of reduced rigidity. This is provided by making rigidity adjuster of two similar ring flexible members compressed to oval and arranged symmetrically relative to seat longitudinal axis. Near sections of flexible ring members are hinge- connected to one support, and diametrically opposite sections are hinge- connected to other support. Larger axes of symmetry of compressed flexible ring members and axes of all their hinge joints with support are parallel to seat longitudinal axis of symmetry. Flexible ring members can be made from steel cable, spring tape or wire wound into coil with provision of relative displacement of coils with friction. EFFECT: provision of vibration-proof seat with enlarged zone of quazizero rigidly. 3 cl, 4 dwg
