FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: described is thermoplastic polymeric composition for sausage and frankfurter envelopes consisting of one or mixture of polyamides and technological additive. Additive is polyamide compatible agent selected from higher aliphatic C6-C20 compounds and aromatic carboxylic acids, completely or partially substituted carboxylic acid esters and polyhydric alcohols, aliphatic acid amides, polyhydric alcohols, oligomer polyamides, lectams, polyalkyleneoxides with molecular weight of up to 20,000, ethers thereof and mixtures of above-mentioned agents and having thermal stability up to 300 C in amount of 0.01-0.5 wt %. EFFECT: no additional technological operations and preparation of hose film which retains high strength and barrier characteristics typical of polyamides. 4 cl, 20 ex, 1 tbl
