POLYGONAL SPIRAL TAPE-MOVING DEVICE FOR WEB-FED PRESSES Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: printing arts. SUBSTANCE: the device has guide rollers at spiral angles, rotary bar inside the spiral and a drawing-of guide roller on one of the device lateral walls. The rollers in one of the spiral angles are linked by a drive. A vanishing unit is installed in the same angle of the spiral so that one of the guide rollers of this spiral angle serves as a supporting cylinder of the varnishing unit. As compared with the known spiral-type device, the offered device makes it possible to varnish the tape impressed on one side after drying of impressions on the first loop of the spiral. An impression cylinder is installed above the drawing-off guide roller. The drawing-off roller is installed in adjustable eccentric bushes, and the impression cylinder is linked with the supporting cylinder of the varnishing unit by a drive. A form-rolling section of flexoprinting adjoins the impression cylinder, and two guide rollers are installed on the opposite side of the spiral device, after the rotary bar the tape impressed on one side is successively drawn on the impression cylinder on the mentioned two guide rollers and drawing-off guide roller lowered to the extreme position by the eccentric bush. EFFECT: expanded process abilities of the device on the whole without increasing the working area occupied by it and power consumption. 2 cl, 3 dwg
