FIELD: construction unit for building assembly dispensing with cement. SUBSTANCE: construction unit is made in the form of parallelepiped with four vertical and two horizontal faces. Horizontal faces mount female and male members made in the form of continuous lengthwise embossment arranged on upper horizontal face throughout entire length of construction unit and continuous longitudinal slot on lower face. Continuous longitudinal channel formed by steep edge attached to inclined surface of embossment and joined to horizontal bottom is provided near lengthwise embossment. Continuous longitudinal step formed by edge attached to very steep wall or set vertically is provided near longitudinal slot. When one construction unit is placed on top of other, step and channel which are facing each other constitute continuous longitudinal space spreading throughout entire length of unit.
