CASE SPACE WITH DRAIN BOLT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; cases of machines equipped with lubricating or other systems with provision replacement of liquids at servicing or repair. SUBSTANCE: proposed case provides possibility of connecting intake union to let out liquid at draining and let in liquid at washing and filling in. For this purpose drain bolt is fitted in case. This bolt stops drain hole when intake union is fitted instead of plug and opens drain hole for draining liquid from case and for filling in liquid. To simplify design of case it can be provided with boss displaced downwards from case bottom part. EFFECT: facilitated servicing, improved conditions of labour, reduced labour input at lubricating and filling operations. 3 cl, 4 dwg
