FIELD: engine manufacture. SUBSTANCE: engine has air intake and air compressor communicating with fuel combustion chamber connected to turbine. Engine also has systems for controlling and cooling down water-sprayed flame and gaseous products of combustion; mentioned systems incorporate water sprayers mounted in gas mixing zone, nose, and water source. Fuel-water mixer mounted on fuel pipeline running to fuel manifold with injectors in combustion chamber (chambers) is connected to water pipeline. Water manifold is mounted near fuel manifold and is connected to each fuel injector. Water manifold with water sprayers is installed around burning zones of combustion chamber (chambers). Flame within burning zone is cooled down to 1600-1800 C by spray water through flame tube walls and slits provided in flame tube as well as by fuel-water mixture sprayed by fuel injectors. Temperature of steam-gas mixture upstream of turbine is brought to value ranging between flame temperature within burning zone and dew point, inclusive. EFFECT: enhanced engine efficiency. 2 dwg
