FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: plowing unit has tractor and plow which are interconnected through hitching mechanism, spring-loaded carrier wheel, and plowing depth indicator. Plowing unit is further provided with pull-type slide mounted in guide having adjustable angle of inclination on suspension pin. Pull-type slide is pivotally connected to plow through power tension members by rocker with upper collapsible tie-rod provided with position retainer and auxiliary rocker. One arm of rocker is coupled to tractor so that its position in vertical plane may be adjusted, and other arm of rocker is connected to upper tie-rod. Carrier wheel is mounted for compressing spring at the initial stage of increasing plowing depth and for urging movable contact to immovable contact for closing them and supplying current to electromagnet of upper tie-rod position retainer. Such construction allows predetermined plowing depth to be maintained through the whole plowing process. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency. 1 dwg
