FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recovery of rare- earth elements in integrated processing of apatite. Solution, obtained after treatment of phosphogypsum with leaching solution containing 0.1-0.5 g- eq/l sulfuric acid, is neutralized with magnesium oxide or carbonate (e. g. magnesite) and precipitate containing rare-earth elements is filtered off. Magnesium sulfate solution obtained after separation of indicated precipitate and acidified with sulfuric acid can be used as leaching solution.
