GRAIN MIXTURE SEPARATION METHOD Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves separating light, large and small contaminants from grain mixture; performing additional size separation of grain mixture in wet state into three fractions; providing additional drying of average-size fraction in seed drying mode and feeding it for primary cleaning in pneumatic sieving machine, where light and partially difficult-to-separate contaminants are separated; providing secondary cleaning of product obtained upon primary cleaning of grain mixture. Additional separation of grain mixture in wet state provides for reduced contamination of seed fraction with small contaminants and with fine and ungerminated seeds of main crop. EFFECT: reduced power consumed for producing of certified seeds by reduced contamination of grain mixture and increased efficiency of equipment used to accomplish method. 1 dwg
