FIELD: gas-turbine engines. SUBSTANCE: combustion chamber has casing accommodating flame tube built up of front and rear parts with holes for secondary air admission. Front part has equal number of separate longitudinal segments hinged to front device and spacers placed between segments and joined to the latter by means of guides for relative displacement in circular direction. Kinematic linkage between segments and drive is, essentially, set of synchronizing rings with eyes connected to drive and fixed to segments of brackets with shaped guides and on rollers fitted in bracket guides and secured in eyes. Segments and spacers of rear part are loosely mounted on isograde pins welded to fixed gas collector to ensure longitudinal displacement of flame tube; for the purpose, ends of rear-part segments and spacers carry guides; segments and spacers of front and rear parts are hinged together. EFFECT: improved fuel combustion, reduced specific fuel consumption, improved engine draft. 6 dwg
