FIELD: optics, methods and systems for display of stereoscopic and similar effects. SUBSTANCE: display of object image on the bases of two or more preset two-dimensional pictures formed by a great number of sections differing from one another, at which video information intended at least for one mentioned viewer is displayed on two or more successively arranged screens, each formed by a great number of cells; according to the invention, video information corresponding to a part of the sections of each two-dimensional picture is displayed on each of the screens. Some of the cells of the screen or screens located closer to the viewer or viewers, the cells carrying the video information inclusive, screen those light signals of the preceding screens that must not be fed to the respective eye of the respective viewer; as a result, each eye of each viewer receives information on only one preset two-dimensional picture, and the viewer sees the stereoscopic image of the object. EFFECT: enhanced quality of image, preserved perception of video information by viewer at a change of the position of his eyes. 9 cl, 2 dwg
