FIELD: method for manufacture of containers, for example, bottles, of film of thermoplastic material. SUBSTANCE: the method includes the stage of thermal bonding of two strips of film of thermoplastic material and the stage of hot molding. The strips are bound for formation of little bags between the two strips of film, that are open on the longitudinal edge of the film strips. Thermal bonding of the two film strips is accomplished in such a manner that the line of thermal bonding, which determines the boundaries of the little bags, would by positioned inside the respective mould cavity when the film strips are inserted in it. In the stage of hot molding sections of the two film stripsm in which little bags are formed, are inserted in the mould, having cavities located around the little bags. Fluid medium is introduced under pressure in the bags through their open side for blow molding inside the mould cavities. The stage of hot molding is followed by the stage of cutting out of those sections of the film strips that project from the base. The sections of the film strips projecting from the lateral face of the container contour that are hot molded from the bags are also removed in the stage of cutting out. The device for realization of the method has means for displacement of the film strips, two half- moulds for thermal bonding and a hot molding unit. The half-moulds are made for convergence in response to a command for hot bonding of the film strips, and have cavities corresponding to the bags on the side facing the film strips. The hot molding unit has a mould with molding cavities. The molding cavities of the mould for hot molding have a larger size than the size of the cavity of the half-moulds for thermal bonding by a preset value so that the sections of thermal bonding of the strips adjacent to the bags could be positioned inside the molding cavities. The container is also described. EFFECT: provision of manufacture of containers by hot molding without thermally bound edges on the lateral face and bottom of the container. 12 cl, 16 dwg
