FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves settling larva of mature insects of equal age in substrate heated in trays placed in vertical cassettes provided with strips for trays in separate room; separating insects from substrate with egg layings; mounting radiant heaters on lower surfaces of strips; growing larva in substrate heated with hot air in containers provided with biogas discharge device; regulating biogas moisture content during growing of larva by introducing filler, with portion of biological compost produced upon separation of it from larva being used as filler. Container and tray walls are made from heat-insulating material. Method allows various organic wastes of any moisture content to be reprocessed into effective organic fertilizers. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider range of products obtained by reprocessing of organic wastes of any kind, and reduced loss of energy released during biological thermal processes. 2 cl, 2 dwg
