FIELD: crude oil treatment reagents. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to substances used for lowering flow temperature of wax-containing liquid hydrocarbons. Such depressant is, in particular, prepared by reaction of hydrocarbyl- substituted phenol, in which hydrocarbyl radical contains more than 30 carbon atoms, with C1-C12-aldehyde or its precursor.
