FIELD: drilling of blast holes in rocks. SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to drill bits used for rock drilling. Hard- alloy insert for drill bit has working surface and conduit. Axis of conduit is displaced relative to axis of insert with formation of nonuniform thickness of its wall, thinner part of wall being located closer to axis of bit and thicker part being positioned towards its periphery. Wear of insert should be more uniform thanks to strengthening of peripheral part. EFFECT: prolonged wear resistance of inserts. 5 dwg
