CONTAINER FOR MUD POULTICE APPLICATION Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: container has vessel for storing of mud which is adapted to be applied to patient's body. Container is made in the form of plate manufactured from elastic polymeric material and having thickness equal to that of mud to be applied to patient's body. Plate is provided with pattern of openings. Diameter of openings is selected in view of initial resistance of mud shear, mud density and gravity force acceleration. Container of such construction provides uniform thickness of applied mud irrespective of type and position of mud applicator on patient's body. Container may be repeatedly used. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 2 dwg
