FIELD: plastic metal working, namely, processes for securing tubes to tube plates of heat exchanging apparatuses due to use of localized directed plastic deformation of tube material. SUBSTANCE: method for securing tubes comprises steps of placing tube into tube opening; fixing it against possible motion for subsequent combination type fastening of tube in tube plate due to applying compression effort to tube inner surface for providing additional non-detachable joint. At applying compression effort to inner surface of tube, at least two successive plastic local contacts of tube with surface of opening of tube plate are provided. Non-detachable joint is formed in conditions of moving tube along distance from its end until first local contact in direction to outer surface of tube plate.
