FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed hydromechanical transmission has hydrodynamic torque converter, planetary reduction gear consisting of two planetary trains, three friction clutches and three brakes. Output member of hydrodynamic torque converter is coupled through separate controlled friction clutches with sun gears of both planetary trains and with carrier of first planetary train. Sun gears of both planetary trains are coupled with case through friction brakes. Carrier of first planetary train is coupled with crown gear of second planetary train through friction brake with case. Crown gear of first planetary train is coupled with carrier of second planetary train. Driving member of drive kinematic circuit of driving axle differential is arranged between second planetary train and friction brake of second train sun gear and is coupled with carrier of second planetary train. EFFECT: enlarged kinematic capabilities of transmission with preservation of its dimensions. 2 cl, 2 dwg
