FIELD: food-processing and chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: rubbing machine has whips and drum, gaging device, homogenizer, mixer, and emulsifier. Method involves providing countercurrency motion of whips and drum resulting in abrasion of particles of any kind of products subjected to rubbing (sifting, vegetables or oil fractions); introducing particles into annular channel where particles are exposed to impacts. Rubbing causes mechanical destruction of structure of particles, for instance, of cellular tissue in food products. Thus, cellular tissue is substantially converted into food fibers. Rubbing may be combined with gaging and homogenization, mixing by means of auxiliary inlets, solving, or chemical reaction in the presence of catalysts, destruction, emulsification and suspension. Rubbing machine is used for producing dietary, therapeutic or prophylactic products and bread, water-fuel emulsions, for fractioning of oil to reduce oil flow rate and fuel oil discharge time.
