FIELD: bridge engineering; erection of frameworks of bridges, overpasses, and viaducts. SUBSTANCE: framework has road surface slab built integral with main longitudinal steel beams, transversal diaphragms placed between inclined walls and bottom ledge of each beam. Mentioned beams are composite structures in length built up of blocks open on top with inclined side walls and bottom ledge joining the walls. Novelty is that each block is provided with pair of steel sheets forming top ledge; each of steel sheets is placed on top end of respective inclined walls; transversal diaphragms are available of three models: supporting, ordinary, and bracing ones. Each supporting diaphragm is assembled of flat solid sheet members which are spaced apart and provided with central bore and with inclined side edges; sheets are joined together by means of coupling members arranged along bridge. Each ordinary diaphragm is made in the form of single flat box-shaped member with inclined side edges joined on top at least at the mounting stage by at least one transversal taut strut. Each bracing diaphragm is made in the form of single solid flat sheet member with central bore and inclined side edges; blocks of longitudinal beams are joined by transversal braces placed in planes of adjacent supporting diaphragms; projection length H1 of inclined wall of each main-beam block in cross-sectional area onto horizontal plane is (0.15- 0.65)H2, where H2 is projection length of this wall in cross-sectional area onto vertical plane; width L1 of bottom ledge of each block is (1.85-2.85)L2, where L2 is width of each top-ledge sheet of this block. EFFECT: reduced metal input due to optimal load distribution of framework; improved bearing capacity and facilitated erection of framework. 6 cl, 8 dwg
