AERODYNAMIC CRAFT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: shipbuilding; designing aerodynamic craft. SUBSTANCE: craft has hull with through vertical passages: two passages in aft section and two passages in fore section of hull. Craft is provided with propulsors for horizontal motion, rising propulsors arranged in vertical passages, engine mounted inside hull and kinematically linked with propulsors and motion stability control system. Each rising propulsor is made in form of propeller with two pairs of wing-shaped blades mounted for rotation in opposite direction. Each blade is provided with leading-edge slat. Mechanical linkage of engine with rising propulsor is effected through differential gears provided with braking unit. Craft motion stability control system is electrically connected with braking units of controllable differential gears. EFFECT: improved service characteristics of aerodynamic craft. 11 dwg
