FIELD: transport engineering; cross-country vehicles with wheels of any type-sizes. SUBSTANCE: proposed propulsive device is essentially belt made of elastic material with inner cord and provided with tenons on inner surface to increase friction of belt with wheel surface. Grousers are made on outer surface of belt. Lugs to secure elastic belt-rods are found on belt side surface. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions and weight, improved adaptability to manufacture, increased vehicle running speed and road holding capacity of wheels. 4 dwg
