METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCTION OF PIPES BY ROLLING OUT OF ROLL FILLER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: production of tubular or reinforced articles, for example, pipes out of basalt fabric prepreg. SUBSTANCE: method consists in applying of roll filler on a rotary mandrel with formation of a lap in the form of a sleeve before the front end. The mandrel is moved in its axis jointly with the casing through the focal point of deformation formed by the rolls up to the run-out of the mandrel end from the focal point of deformation accomplishing reduction in the wall and simultaneously shrinking the obtained laminated casing. After rolling the pipe is cut into measured lengths. The device has a unit for applying of roll filler on the mandrel, rotary mandrel, pulling rolls, mechanism for moving the mandrel in the axis, mechanism for tripping of the pipe front end and longitudinal movement of it relative the mandrel at a preset speed. The rolls are positioned at an angle of 1 to 4 degrees to the mandrel axis and installed around it in holders rotating about the mandrel axis, located in a thermal chamber and mounted successively one after another in the rolling axis.
