FIELD: weapon, applicable in weapon with upper arrangement of the magazine and downward extraction of cartridge cases. SUBSTANCE: breechblock has a locking member installed for movement on the breechblock body for turning around its longitudinal axis. The locking member has locking lugs. The breechblock has a pair of two guides with seats for sealing devices, breechblock housing making up a movable joint with the guides and having two hollow rods connected by a crosspiece, feed rib, groove for passage of the ejector. Each of the pair of shanks has a groove for the return spring and its supporting member, seat for the reloading lever and seat for the locking member in its breech, making up a movable joint with the locking member shank with the aid of the locking lugs and grooves, installed for longitudinal motion relative to the breechblock housing. The thread for the helical locking lugs may be positioned on the inner surface of the seats of the locking member shanks. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of breechblock functioning. 5 cl, 10 dwg
