SUBSTANCE: invention describes method of production of dry glyphosate ammonium involving addition of anhydrous gaseous ammonia to medium containing glyphosate acid as a moist "tablet" under condition of constant temperature about 60 C, not above. In the process of reaction carrying out gas is dispersed in acid uniformly and heat removal from reaction is optimized. Produced glyphosate ammonium is a water- -soluble powder with high sorption capacity that can be used for final using as a regulating agent of plant growth or as herbicide without further processing. Product is especially useful for further formulation for absorption/adsorption of adjuvants, for example, wetting agents, foam suppressors and, especially, surface-active substances being used in extremely high concentrations.
