FIELD: pipeline transport. SUBSTANCE: method is used for construction of pipelines in oil production industry and in housing and public services. Half-couplings are secured on external surface of pipe ends by reduction with simultaneous cladding of their internal surface with range made of corrosion-resistant metal. In this case, end faces and external surface of pipe ends at places of contact with rings made of corrosion-resistant metal are protected against contact corrosion by means of dielectric material or by material of pipe internal coating. Pipes are jointed by welding of adjacent ends of half-couplings and rings of corrosion-resistant metal according to known technology of double-layer metal welding.
