"SUGAR WOOL" PRODUCTS FORMING AND PACKAGING METHOD Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: method of forming products from "sugar wool" involves providing action of axial and circular forces upon portion of "sugar wool" by means of device having semispherical forming pans and other forming members. Method for manufacture of casings from thermoplastic film for packaging "sugar wool" products involves heating and forming film by means of molds and dies in devices providing operation of these molds and dies through movable covers equipped with locking handles. Method of packaging products from "sugar wool" involves placing these products between thermoplastic film casings and providing thermal sealing of film edges; filling casings with air to excessive pressure value with following pressurization by means of device equipped with unit for thermal sealing of casing edges by heater and device for filling casing with air and sealing of air admission channel with wire electrode. Method allows package suitable for storage and transportation of "sugar wool" products to be manufactured, with attractive appearance satisfying aesthetic requirements and sanitary standards being maintained.
