The guide arrangement for the gun barrel is made in the form of aligned front and rear tubes of different diameter spaced in the gun length and interconnected by a cantilever truss. The inside diameter of the front tube is less than that of the rear one, the front tube is conjugate to the barrel by a slide fit for recoil. To this end, two guide rings that are concentric on the bore are rigidly fastened on the barrel, in the muzzle area, and spaced in the length of the front tube. As to the inside diameter, the rear tube is tightly connected to the gun fixed member, for example, to the counterrecoil mechanism body.
