FIELD: cleaning water from iron in drinking water systems. SUBSTANCE: plant includes pipe lines for delivery of starting water, flushing water and for discharge of cleaned and flushing water, aeration unit, clarifying filter with granular medium and lower distributing unit, closed-type contact filter with partially floating medium, lower distributing unit and gas exhaust unit made in form of pipe mounted for change of depth of immersion and regulating valve. Gas exhaust unit is connected with starting water supply pipe line fitted with aeration unit. Bypass unit is mounted between lower distributing units of contact and clarifying filters.
