FIELD: biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial production of cellulase. Method involves submerged culturing fungus Trichoderma viride 44-11-62/3 on medium containing corn starch and wheat bran hydrolysates as the source of carbon. Fermentation process is carried out at discrete addition of 0.5% solution of lactose as an activating addition. Use of homogeneous nutrient medium ensures to exclude mechanical loss in production of enzyme. Method provides attainment of increased activity of cellulase in cultural broth (27 U/ml) and increased yield of enzyme preparation celloviridine by 24%.
