FIELD: locking equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves moving substance body, such as movable part of hinge, into keyhole zone. Metal door has box, door body with opening for receiving lock member having keyhole, lock with keyhole, and hinges made in the form of separate parts connected one with the other. At least one part of hinge is positioned for displacement along door body surface for fixed distance. Movable part of hinge has at least one opening for receiving lock member with keyhole. Distance of displacement of movable part of hinge is equal to distance between center of opening in door body adapted for receiving lock member with keyhole and center of opening in movable part of hinge for lock member with keyhole. Movable part of hinge is made L-shaped or T-shaped or Y-shaped. Method and closing device may be used in locks of any construction provided with keyhole and adapted for preventing unauthorized access into rooms.
