FIELD: textile industry and production of knitted articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves impregnating textile material with dye solution; squeezing; providing contacting of textile material with heated metal surface having required pattern. Material for pattern may be tetrafluoroethylene film. Lower aliphatic monatomic C1-C3 alcohol is introduced into dye solution in an amount of 3-5 g/l. Metal surface is heated to temperature of 115-125 C. Method allows distinctness of contours, brightness of pattern tone and dye permanence to be improved.
