FIELD: construction engineering; erection of buildings and structures or repair and reconstruction of existing ones. SUBSTANCE: structural unit has structural and heat-insulating layers, the latter is made of light-weight material with edge chosen by perimeter, scarfing being made inside over layer thickness at 70-80 deg. to ensure anchoring of structural layer building mortar therein. Anchoring depth and width equals structural layer thickness. Volume of heat-insulating layer amounts to 70-90% of entire volume of unit. Manufacturing method involves preparation of cement mortar and heat-insulating member, filling form with mortar, installation of heat-insulating member followed by vibration action and process exposure until desired stripping strength is obtained; mortar is introduced after pre-treatment of heat-insulating member with dispersed aqueous latex and liquid glass mixture over entire surface contacting structural layer. Cement mortar composition is as follows by weight: cement 100, sand 100-200, haydite dust 20-50, latex 10-30, liquid glass 5-15, water up to working consistence. EFFECT: improved heat-insulating characteristics and reliability of structure. 2 cl, 2 dwg
