FIELD: shipbuilding; building of floating structure hulls afloat. SUBSTANCE: method consists in coupling edges of hull parts above water, turning hull parts around these joint by ballasting the structure and connecting opposite edges of hull. First edges of hull parts are connected by means of hinges. For welding hinged joints in above-water position, hull is rotated about its longitudinal axis. EFFECT: facilitated assembly of large-sized cylindrical hulls of floating structures. 2 cl, 4 dwg
