FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: described are block copolymers for radiation hardenable melted adhesive composition of general formula: (AB)p(B)qX wherein A is polyvinylaromatic block, B1 and B are identical or different polybutadiene units having 1 or 3 vinyl units, and X is residue of polyvalent combination agent, and full apparent molecular weight of block copolymer ranges from 100,000 to 500,000 as measured by gel-penetration chromatography. Content of 1,2- vinyl links in polybutadiene units is 25-70%, maximum active centers(m) in combination agent X is within 3 to 6 wherein p and q values are within 1.5 to m, provided that average sum of p and q values is less than m, and effectiveness of combination is less than 90%, average full content of vinylaromatic links in said block copolymer being within 10 to 50 wt.%. Block copolymers afford improvement in properties of both radiationally, hardenable adhesive, packing or cover compositions which are used for markers, bands and products for single application. EFFECT: improved properties of block copolymers. 14 cl, 11 tbl
