SUBSTANCE: void pressure measurement technique is as follows: probe is dipped into ground at constant speed and then stopped at point of measurement; measurements are made considering relaxation time. Novelty is that type of ground is determined by characteristics of head resistance to probe cone and lateral tool friction; time of relaxation process is given considering type of ground; void pressure is measured during time interval upon probe stop equal to time of relaxation process.
