FIELD: oil producing industry, particularly, methods of reduction of permeability of water-flooded reservoirs and involving in development of new districts of oil and gas deposits. SUBSTANCE: method consists in successive injection of preliminarily prepared mixture of clay suspension with aqueous solution of caustic soda and mineralized water through injection well. In this case, concentrated aqueous solution of caustic soda is used. Ratio of clay suspension and caustic soda in mixture amount from 1:1 to 3:1. Prepared mixture is allowed to stand with periodic stirring. Mixture of clay suspension and concentrated aqueous solution of caustic soda is aged for 1-5 days. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 tbl, 3 ex
