FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes injection of aqueous solution of salt of multivalent metal, polymer solution and subsequent injection of displacing agent through injection well into formation. Solution of multivalent metal salt is injected simultaneously with polymer and supplied before and/or at the moment, and/or after their injection are special additives. Proportions, dispersity and consistency of solution of salt, polymer and additives are determined depending on formation parameters and properties of formation fluids. Injection is carried out to preset region of nonuniform formation at optimal technological parameters. In this case, dynamics of variation of technological parameters is registered and region of penetration of injected solution is determined. Upon reaching of region of nonuniform formation by solution, solution of precipitating components is injected at optimal technological parameters depending on formation parameters, properties of formation fluids and injected solution of multivalent metal with polymer and special additives. Process is continued and/or repeated until required injectivity of well with respect to displacing agent and/or water, and/or oil is ensured. EFFECT: higher efficiency of claimed method due to increase of coverage of formation intervals nonuniform in thickness and area, increased oil recovery from formation and limited water production on oil pool region. 22 cl, 3 tbl
